Visitor: Hi, I'd like to book a guided tour for my family. We've never visited before.
Staff: Wonderful! Tours run twice a day, at ten in the morning and at two in the afternoon. Which would suit you best?
Visitor: I think the afternoon one would be better for us, the two o'clock tour.
Staff: Perfect. The tour lasts about ninety minutes and takes you around all the main enclosures.
Visitor: That sounds great. How much does it cost?
Staff: For adults it's twelve pounds each, and children under sixteen pay six pounds. We also have a family ticket for two adults and two children, which costs thirty pounds.
Visitor: The family ticket sounds ideal. There are two adults and two children in our group.
Staff: Lovely, I'll put you down for the family ticket then. Can I take a name for the booking?
Visitor: Yes, it's under Hargreaves. That's H-A-R-G-R-E-A-V-E-S.
Staff: Thank you. Now, on the tour you'll see a variety of animals. We currently care for injured birds, foxes, hedgehogs, and even a few deer.
Visitor: My children love owls. Will we see any?
Staff: Absolutely, the owls are one of our most popular attractions. Our guide will explain how each animal was rescued and how we prepare them for release back into the wild.
Visitor: Do you release most of them?
Staff: Yes, around eighty percent of the animals we treat are eventually returned to their natural habitat. The rest stay with us permanently because their injuries are too serious.
Visitor: That's reassuring. Is there anywhere to eat during our visit?
Staff: There's a small café near the entrance that serves hot drinks, sandwiches, and cakes. It's open from nine until five.
Visitor: Good to know. Should we bring anything special?
Staff: I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as parts of the path can get muddy. And please bring a waterproof jacket if the weather looks uncertain.
Visitor: We'll do that. Is photography allowed?
Staff: Yes, but please don't use flash, as it can frighten the animals. Also, feeding the animals is strictly forbidden for their safety.
Visitor: Understood. One last thing, is there parking available?
Staff: Yes, we have a free car park just behind the visitor centre. It can hold about fifty cars, so there's usually plenty of space.
Visitor: Excellent. Thank you so much for your help.
Staff: You're very welcome. We look forward to seeing you at two o'clock. Enjoy your visit!
