You recently bought a laptop online, but when it arrived it was damaged.
Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter:
• describe what you ordered and when it arrived
• explain how the item was damaged
• say what action you would like the shop to take
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing regarding order number 78421, which I placed on your website on 3 May. The item, a 14-inch NovaBook laptop, was delivered to my home yesterday afternoon.
Unfortunately, the laptop arrived in a damaged condition. One corner of the outer box had been badly crushed during transit, and when I opened the package I found that the protective foam had slipped out of place, leaving the screen unsupported. As a result, there is a visible crack along the lower edge of the display, and the machine will not switch on at all; the power light flashes briefly and then goes dark.
As the laptop is clearly faulty and was damaged before it reached me, I would like you to send a replacement by express delivery at no extra cost. If the same model is no longer in stock, I would prefer a full refund instead. I am happy to return the damaged unit using a prepaid label.
